Antibacterial effect of silver nanoparticles synthesised on a polycarbonate membrane

This work reports for the first time possibility of green synthesis and antibacterial effect silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) on commercialized polycarbonate membrane. The AgNPs were loaded membrane serving as substrate via ultra-sonication centrifugation. extracts from red flowers Callistemon viminalis used chelating agent. synthesised thin film characterized by various techniques such Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), Energy Dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), Fourier transform-infrared (FT-IR), X-Ray diffraction UV–Vis spectroscopy. Consequently, affect was studied. had a surface plasmon resonance 310nmand show very effective inhibition growth both Gram-positive Gram-negative.
